Dreams

Seldom did I dare,
Allow myself to dream

Since you walked in
To my life
I can’t help but dream

Red lehengas and flowers
Shehnaai playing and
Hidden shoes

I dream dreams
Of an everlasting love
Holding hands at 72

Children and grandchildren
A house and garden
A dog, cat and you

Always you
My friend, lover, confidante
My husband

I see my dreams
Reflected in your eyes
That’s when I know

They’re no longer dreams
They’re our future.

Aasmaan ko chune ki tamanna hai,
Khusi se jhoomne ki tamanna hai.
Har taraf rangeen nazaara hai,
Hawaon ke saath udne ki tamanna hai

Hasne aur hasaane ki tamanna hai
Masti se jhoomne ki tamanna hai
Har mode pe ek naya chehra hai
Milne aur Milaane ki tamanna hai !!

Sailesh :)
